First SISnet Hub meeting

On February 15th took place the first meeting of the SISnet 360 Users Club, SISnet HUb, where we met with our customers and partners to know their points of view in order to improve and enrich the implementation and use of the tool. The attendees made it clear that there are several points that need to be addressed together to jointly boost their businesses, both from a technological and functional point of view, for which it has been proposed the creation of working groups to share and determine the best strategies to solve the concerns that may arise. Among other topics, it was decided to start working on performance, training, regulatory compliance and security, and participants were invited to attend a new meeting in June 2024. SISnet Store usability improvements. In this release, features and tools have been added to improve the ease of use of SISnetStore, such as a package search by tag, multi-criteria filtering API to search for artifacts by status, tag and category, and package indexing in the generator to improve the search for large configuration items.

Creation of events in third party orders. Depending on the status of the job and the user profile accessing the application, different actions can be performed on it, thus providing it with greater functionality. The associated object is the EncargoDColaborador and the actions performed on the commission are intercepted in the data access layer within the class AdmonColaboradores. SISnet 360 in SaaS. In accordance with the demands of the sector and the latest market trends, SISnet 360 launches a new licensing model, a service model as a subscription, based on cloud. This will bring advantages in terms of security and system performance, while maintaining the latest technological developments, and will deepen one of its technological hallmarks, such as multiplatform and multi-database capacity. On this path, many elements related to the architecture of SISnet 360 have been improved, among which we highlight for its relevance the optimization of the data model for Azure SQL. 

Country layer Chile. "In SISnet 360 we call ""country layer"" to the set of elements that enable the core to operate in a given country, articulated in four levels:
- Country standards, such as data on people, addresses, bank accounts, weights and measures, time zones, currencies and currencies (UFs in the case of Chile).
- Regulatory or normative layer, which deals with laws related to insurance (insurance contract, mediation, ALM controls), tax regulations and personal data protection.
- Insurance standards, such as means of payment (PAC / PAT in Chile), digital signature or address standardization.
- Specific aspects of business lines, currently focusing on Life.
For our LATAM expansion we have developed these elements for the Chilean market, and will address during 2024 Mexico and Colombia."

SISnet Store as a tool for configuration promotion. Thanks to its Zero Code paradigm, SISnet 360 aims to be a primarily configurative tool. This capability requires specific tools for the management of promotion between environments, where all the configurable elements of the Product Workshop (rules, questionnaires, BPM templates, rate tables, material workshop, insurance texts, messages, help texts, letter templates, commercial campaigns, business concepts, business objects, API resources, etc.) have their place, where these elements are organized in ordered configuration packages with all possible traceability, and where the integrity and flow of both the generation and installation of these packages is validated.

Expanded capabilities in Life Savings. The taxation of Life Savings insurance has been completed with the incorporation of tax forms 189 (Information return on securities, insurance and income) and 345 (Information return on plans, pension funds and alternative systems).

Zero Code simulator with adapters. "In this evolution of the simulation tools in SISnet 360, the simulator is enhanced by integrating it into the Zero Code logic. Thus, the ZC adapter to be used for loading the virtual structures used in the processing rule during simulation execution can be defined in the data input configuration. In addition, new Zero Code elements have been created that will allow the automatic loading of the core virtual structure (policy, collective...), making reference to the adapters defined in the input fields, without the need to define the whole instruction."

Redefinition of the commercial product in collective underwriting. The underwriting of a group policy requires specific functionalities that allow the underwriter great flexibility in offering the client what he really needs, within the parameters defined in the group's line of business. With this new functionality, during the underwriting train, once the commercial product previously configured in the line of business has been selected, it is possible to rewrite and redefine the elements that are needed (depending on what the company considers): the name of the commercial combination, the coverages included or excluded, the applicable rate, the associated capitals, deductibles, applicable commissions, discounts...

EIAC for Settlements and for Coinsurance. "The importance of using the EIAC standard for communication between brokers and companies is indisputable. SISnet 360 continues to work on the full implementation of the standard within the core, to which it has dedicated resources in recent years. In 2023, we have focused on Phase IV and the last phase of the standard, concentrating on making available the daily commission settlement process and the cash account process, which includes all commission settlement movements. Additionally, the information included in Phase I policy information has been improved, incorporating the Coinsurance block."

Front decoupled in invoices and search engines. From version 14 onwards, the entire agenda module is added to the decoupled agenda module (including the operator's agenda with all its operations, as well as the global agenda functionality, which allows access to all the tasks contained in the system), the complete invoice query and the policy, invoice and quotation search engines.

Coinsurance in EIAC. Completing the final stages of implementation of the EIAC standard, the treatment of the coinsurance block in policies has been included.

New items added to SISnet Store. The last stages of the SISnet Store roadmap have been completed with the creation of formula repository, formulation flow and document model factories; import and export of labels from the tariff table factory; or specific APIs that improve the work with the packages. More information in SISnet Store Functional Manual.

Features of the Autos line of business in core. In this version we have finished incorporating core preparations focused on CICOS and FIVA, embodied in menu items and out-of-the-box configurations.

Evolution of reserve processing in claims assignments. This functionality has changed in form and substance in order to allow more versatility. Through a new system of rules and its association to a new base table, it will allow the generation of reservations by type of order, reservation concept and amount. It could operate both at company level and by line of business. More information in the document Colaboradores y encargos de siniestro.

Expansion of export and import tools. In order to facilitate the use of the system by users, new tools have been incorporated for exporting and importing insurance texts, article templates and reinsurance texts. All this from CSV files.

Taxation for Life - Form 189. Tax Form 189 of the Securities, Insurance and Income Information Statement has been implemented for life savings products.

New factories in SISnet Store. We keep completing the SISnet Store capabilities, this time including the business object action factories and API resource factories.

What's new in the Line of Business wizard. As part of the improvements in the registration and maintenance of insurance products, a new registration option has been added for commercial products within the management of business lines, to facilitate their definition.

Management tab added in the claims view. The Management tab already existing in other objects within the application, such as policies or invoices, has been extended to claims to complete the functionality of the application.

New capabilities in decoupling. In this version, progress has been made in the area of invoices, incorporating the decoupled invoice search engine, to link with the decoupled invoice query already carried out. Advances have also been made in the capabilities of the decoupled agenda, with the processing of filters, alerts, etc.

Factories and increased capabilities in SISnet Store. From now on, three new element factories have been added: letter templates, commercial campaigns and business concepts. In addition, the tools for validations in the generation and installation of configuration packages have been reinforced.

Inclusion of marks on invoices. The possibility of enabling marks in invoices from the mark management has been added, thus extending the catalogue of business objects that can be marked.

Multi-threaded pricing in scenarios. Performance improvements have been implemented in scenario pricing by adding multi-threaded pricing.

Evolution of the uncoupled agenda. We have increased the capabilities of the decoupled agenda in SISnet, so that filters can be set, deleted and obtained on a per-user basis.

New configuration for packet generation capabilities in SISnet Store. With this version, it is possible to generate packages for material workshops, insurance texts, messages or help texts. This way, SISnet Store is ready to handle almost all of the system's configurative elements.

Optimisation of the contingency search engine. From this version onwards, it is possible to search for contingencies both by the policy under which the opening is initiated and by the policy/s to which the contingency is finally related. Additionally, this search criterion is also applied to contingencies that are rejected.
